We are planning to upgrade from Globus G11 (Universe) to T24 R9 (jbase/oracle).

what is the best method to upgrade to R9, right now Globus runs on GAC with 2 instances which we want to make it to Multi-company in T24.

Hello,

Your question is too generic.

However, when upgrading there are several phases.
One is just technical upgrade which means taking whatever you have and just upgrading to a newer jBase release and newer T24 release.
The other phase is business upgrade, which takes into account the new features of the new release.

Since you are making a very big jump (G11 --> R9) I strongly suggest that business upgrade will be big part of your upgrade plan.

I suggest consider consultancy from one of the experienced companies, Temenos itself or one of its partners.

I was part of an upgrade team from R5 to R9, and the previous steps involved about 3 months of business and technical work. The upgrade itself required about one month, starting from software installation, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue tracking, parallel between R5 and R9 and go live in R9.

Can you Send me documents(Technical) to upgrade from R5 to R9. What and all the steps we need to follow. I have not done any upgradtion project.
