T24 is a very huge product and also its basis are on a flat file system.

So getting a top level ER diagram would be very dificult.

You may start developing your own er diagram for each entity of T24.

Either Temenos does not have ERD or simply not sharing it with the clients (why not???)

I believe this can be a good and beneficial idea for this forum to create one together using the accumulated knowledge and experience.

I'm attaching here something that can be used as starting point.

Lior, Thanks, I am unable to see any attachment. I predict , this E R diagram will be usefull when doing oracle tablespace partitioning to base table and index tablespace.

Thanks

I also started entering some of the T24 applications in to Erwin (a CASE tool) in an effort to document the flat file database of T24. It is possible, but does not fulfill our needs.

Is this what you've done as well ?
No attachment found. I'm curious to see what you've done.

Does anyone know of a way to create a program that would document T24 field usage in Customized version or interfaces ?

Hi everyone

I think you can ask to Temenos. They have at least a diagram by module. This diagram shows how each application/table is related one to each other. This may help you to create something like E-R Diagram.

Remember that T24 doesn't have physical table relation (FK) or other constraints (Check, unique, etc). Instead T24 uses LiveFile, MultiValues features, etc.

Regards.

There are possible ways to create basic diagrams through programs, however it depends on the exact requirement and expectations.

I've never seen a diagram by module. We have t24 people locally here, and they are not sure what I'm talking about. Is there a different name for something like this? Does anyone have a copy of the "diagram by module" they can post. If it's in my hand, they can not say they don't have it.
