Hi I am newbie in T24.

We have the desire to connect to T24, pull out some data, analyze it externally and create reports out of it. We have good experience in PHP, Perl and VB.NET. Does anyone have code samples/APIs/Connectors that would allow us to integrate data from T24 in our applications?

We are using T24 R08 on AIX UNIX 6.1 and jBase 5.0.2.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hamisi

I can think of several ways for now:
- Data Warehouse solution
There are 2 products that includes the ETL (extract Transform Load) for the data as well as the reporting layer. One is Insight from Temenos and the other is from TIS Consultants
- You may also check ODBC driver for jBASE
- You can develop your own extraction / ETL

I looked at all the alternatives you mentioned. None of them would give the solution that I want immediately. I am sure there is a way to do it in our own to just meet our requirements. So I prefer to do write our own routines to do extraction from T24.

Is there any API/connector/Sample codes that I can use? They may be .NET, Java, PHP, Perl and C, though our first choice is .NET.

Your assistance is highly appreciated.

The issue with all the methods you mentioned (NET, Java, PHP, Perl and C, though our first choice is .NET.) is how to gain access to the jBASE files.

You will need to find a method/driver that will allow you to read the jBASE files from .NET. I'm not aware of any API other than the JDBC / ODBC driver.

Another way is to write the routines in jBASE (local routines)

Hi,

You could try the mv.NET product to connect your .NET application to your JBase Database. I'm technical in T24 so I worked with a .NET developer to extract info from T24 to SQL Server Database for reporting information.

You can find extensive information about mv.NET in the next link:

www.bluefinity.com/

mv.NET Provides developers with a comprehensive solution to the challenge of creating or enhancing Microsoft .NET based applications requiring access to MultiValue databases.

And according to my experience the cost is low and can help to get information from T24 and Data mining with .NET applications.
