PALO ALTO, USA: Temenos, the banking software provider has partnered with Fiorano Software to provide Temenos T24 customers an 'out of the box' integration solution for their core banking system, making it an ideal choice for T24 clients who do not have an incumbent ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) as well as those implementing a 'bank in a box' solution.

Typically 40 percent of the core banking implementation effort is involved in interfacing with multiple applications.

"When Temenos first started implementing T24, there were just four or five external interfaces; we now have to interface with 50 to 60 applications for a typical mid-sized bank and for some of the bigger banks it can be up to 300 interfaces to the core banking platform. A very large part of the banking implementation is integration. We knew we need a partner to provide an ‘Out of the Box' solution and we chose Fiorano to be that partner" said John Schlesinger, chief enterprise architect at Temenos.

As technology becomes an increasingly important part of a banks' strategy, regardless of the size of the bank, the market is always looking for any advancement that enables speed and agility. T24 on Fiorano ESB incorporates proven enterprise architecture, service delivery, deployable business functionality and an integrated portfolio of event driven business services.

Both Temenos and Fiorano have been well recognized by Gartner, the industry analyst firm. Temenos has been positioned in the Leaders' Quadrant in its "Magic Quadrant for International Retail Core Banking" (October 2013) and Fiorano has been positioned in the Visionary quadrant in its recently-published "Magic Quadrant for On-Premises Application Integration Suites" (June 2013).
