CHEQUE.ISSUE reverse was created by tomassito
Dear All,
Kindly asking you for help regarding reverse of CHEQUE.ISSUE record.
I have made CHEQUE.ISSUE record with status 70-request.After authorization i tryed to reverse it but T24 produced message that I can not reverse record with status 90.
I'm confused ,because the status of the record was 70.
Please advise how to proceed and alsoe is there a possibility to reverse CHEQUE.ISSUE at all.

Dear Tomassito,
read the message correctly, it states that records with STAUS # 90 can't be reversed, so first change status to 90 - then reversal is allowed.

Dear JPB,
thank you for the prompt reply.
I've amended the record with status 90 and I've tried to reverse it but message "Financial entries will not be reversed" appeared and the record can not be committed.
Also i didn't understand why the initial message "Record with status #90 cannot be reversed" appears since the record is with status 70.

"Record with status #90 cannot be reversed" is appearing BECAUSE the status was 70 - it must be 90 to be able to reverse. # stands for NOT EQUAL !
The message "Financial entries will not be reversed" is only a reminder (a message, no error or override...) and should not stop you from committing the reversal.

As stated before this is only a reminder and won't stop you from committing the reversal.
If the CHEQUE.ISSUE doesn't go in status REVE (or RNAU) there must be another error.

We use R7 and i receive this message only when i have charges taken for this cheque issue.

Have you tried reversal in Browser?
If so can you try doing it in desktop or classic?
(Classic may be useful when you use desktop also).
