Help needed on FORMAT.CONV usage

Can anyone help me out on the usage of FORMAT.CONV or Finauxi, which are used for Hardware incompatability.

Hi Folks.. here is the usage of the FORMAT.CONV,

Although GLOBUS tapes are configured for your machine, if you try to restore the tape onto a different machine, you may get the above message. This is because UniVerse objects and files are stored differently according to the machine class. In UNIX, type the following:

cd account to be converted (e.g. cd /globus/demo)

find . -type f -print -depth ?exec /UniVerse pathname/bin/format.conv {} ;
