Hi All,
Do anyone know how to set password for a particular jBASE account?
I know there is a command called PASSWORD to do this.
I tried, but turned into vain.

Hi King,
do it this way
step 1. at the jsh command line type 'PASSWORD'
step 2. it will prompt something like
Enter account name to modify password :
By default it is set to ?SYSTEM?
If that is not the case look at the JEDIFILENAME_SYSTEM
Parameter by typing SET which lists all the Globus environment variables
It may be something like
JEDIFILENAME_SYSTEM=C:JBASE40srcSYSTEM
The name of the file at this path (SYSTEM in this case) indicates the jBASE account (I think ). So give that name when it prompts for account name
Step 3. enter the password you wann to set( password is case sensitive )
Step 4. reenter the password
This will set a password to the account you are specifying
If you wann to remove the password just say PASSWORD at the
first step and enter the old password and when it prompts for the
new password you press enter and again press enter at the reconform password step.
