Upgrading R05 to R07 was created by arunaraj
Hi,

We are in the upgradation process of R07. When we execute EB.COPY.GLOBUS.JBASE, following error is thrown

jsh root /data1/up/temp.release/globusbin -->EB.COPY.GLOBUS.JBASE

Obtaining environment variables....

JEDIFILENAME_SYSTEM is set to: /data1/up/dev/mbdemo/mbdemo.run/SYSTEM

TEMP.RELEASE is /data1/up/temp.release

Removing old globusbin directory at 12:51:33

[12:51:33]rm -fr globusbin

Finished removing old globusbin directory at 12:51:33

Removing old globuslib directory at 12:51:33

[12:51:33]rm -fr globuslib

Finished removing old globuslib directory at 12:51:33

Copying new globusbin...

[12:51:33]cp -r /data1/up/temp.release/globusbin .

cp: 0653-441 ./globusbin is a descendant of /data1/up/temp.release/globusbin.

Copying results in infinite loop(not copied.)

Copied new globusbin.

Copying new globuslib...

[12:51:33]cp -r /data1/up/temp.release/globuslib .

Copied new globuslib.

Also we try to do manual copy and there was no error. But when we check globuslib and globusbin size, it remains the same old size. we are not sure about the copy result. moreover, now it is not possible to login to globus. Error displyed is 'jBase segmentation violation. Aborting'

Environment Details:

R05 with jBase 4.1

has to be upgraded to R07 with jBase 5.0

Can somebody help on this?

Thanks

Aruna

Replied by malai on topic Why
Why you are executing the program in globusbin directory?
Try executing in bnk.run directory.
