Dear all

How can I know from a command from jprompt the index path of a particular file.

Since we freeze the environment and moves to another location, want to make sure the index path are also moved ( In Universe it won't. we've to re-build the index).

But is there anyway I can know from Jbase prompt to see the path of the Index

Kind regards

Noby

In jBASE index files will be created in where your data file exists.

The index file name will end with ]I.

On the other hand you can do LIST-INDEX command for all your files to check whether you have index file for your files.

If you write your own utiltity you can use INDICES() method to find any indexes attached to a particular file.
