i believe the problems im having is as a result of jbase 4.0.Can i upgrade to jbase 4.1 while using Globus G13?is it posiible?....

No its not possible, you cannot do it yourself.
You need to contact temenos for the G13 libraries for jBASE4.1.
I dont think you will get it.
