TAFC

Hello,

On Windows, with R9, we have to use TAFC.

To install TAFC, I click twice on TAFC_R09_32bit.exe
Update the %JBCRELEASEDIR%\config\system.properties file.

You create a .bat file with the different path
$home$ ... etc

But how do you connect a T24 database (demo for example)
to TAFC ?
I am not interested to use deskop or webrowser.
But I search to be able to reach the Jbase command line (=TAFC command line).

Once on the Jbase command line, we can do a EX (to get the old classic Globus screen) or SELECT FBNK.CUSTOMER or JED ... etc

Hello all,

If anybody has a Windows 64 bits TAFC installation with a command line access (jsh),
please could you:
- show the contents of remote.cmd and jprofile.bat files
- which port for telnet (localhost) do you use ?

Hello,
We have implemented TAFC R09 on AIX environment. We just had to extract the files in to the path after creating user and the group for TAFC.bnk area to be keep in same place or separate place. after that these locations to be given in .profile, it contains database parameters as well. If you use oracle Oracle DCD also to be setup. Instructions are given in the Oracle DCD Installation manual. also jbase_agent to be listen on the specific port, which yuo have to put in the browser setip.

But you speak about a Unix environment.
There is no .profile on Windows....
