Installation of TAFC on r09

We are currently trying to do and upgrade from r07 to r09. I understand we need to install TAFC but i'm finding difficulty logging on after changing the variables

after changing .profile as instructed, i keep getting license allowed exceeded error msg when i try to logon, why is that?

also, what is the difference between r8 and r9 in terms of the technical changes(architecture wise). i dont see the guide mention anything about tcserver and jbase anymore??
