I think the limit is only on the UNIX level. If you have too many agents running you may get Too many files opened error from UNIX.

Hi Gva,

Currently we are using R09 release under Solaris (and Browser level)solution. We are facing a problem when number of 600 users we get Error in TCServer log :

2011-12-09 08:31:07,325 [TCP-Thread-59] ERROR tcp - Error while accepting Connection : Too many open files
java.net.SocketException: Too many open files
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketAccept(Native Method)
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.accept(PlainSocketImpl.java:408)
at java.net.ServerSocket.implAccept(ServerSocket.java:462)
at java.net.ServerSocket.accept(ServerSocket.java:430)
at com.temenos.plugin.tcp.TCPListener.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:662)
After that when we restart the TCServer everything goes fine but from the moment that many users connect to T24 we get the same problem. We was monitoring at application LEVEL the system (CPU and Memory) is fine but TCServer is blocked some where.

Do you have any suggestion to follow.

We are using Java 1.6 release.

If you have any suggestions about that it will help us a lot.
