PROBLEM WHEN CREATIN INDEX IN JBASE was created by relmedyer
HELLO,
i have a problem when i tried to create an idex to ACCOUNT.ACT
the follow error is : Error reading extended dictionary
i tried to rebuild SS and reexecute the command but its the same thing
my command:
EXTINDEX -v FBNK.ACCOUNT.ACT CHANGE.DATE
*************************************************************
dictionary for the field CHANGE.DATE
File DICT FBNK.ACCOUNT.ACT , Record 'CHANGE.DATE' Insert 14:23:04
Command->
0001 D
0002 1
0003
0004 CHANGE.DATE
0005 11R
0006 S
******************************************************
have someone any idea??

Normally this problem will disappear when you rebuild the standard selection.
Are you sure you rebuild the SS and logout/login and try?
If the problem still exists, I think you need to contact the product vendor for support.

i think the problem is between the oracle driver and the character set in database.
i will change that and test if it will work or not.
