There are 3 types of files -

INT - INTERTNAL FILE
CUS - Customer file
FIN- FINANCIAL FILE

ACCOUNT is a Financial fILE, which is not shared.
So FIN files has the syntax F<company_mnemonic>.<Application>

Company IS A INTERNAL file , which can be shared.
So INT files has the syntax F.<Application>

Files without the MNEMONIC are shared between all companies (if you have more than one).

This is caused by the CLASSIFICATION in F.FILE.CONTROL (--> shared file ;-)).

CLASSIFICATION
Company classification:

INT - Installation --> shared
CUS - Customer
CST - Customer Table
FIN - Financial
FTD - Financial Table Descriptive
FTF - Financial Table Financial
FRP -
CCY - Currency
NOS - Nostro

wich MNEMONIC is used is triggered by the definition in COMPANY,
e.g. for CUS the field EB.COM.CUSTOMER.MNEMONIC is used etc.
for some the setting of MULTI.BOOK will be considered.

Hope this helps,
regards
