Browser wonder

Hi all,

Could you explain me, I have wonder related with T24 browser:
1, Example They have many area test1, test2, test3, test4 ...
And I do not know the browser point to which area, How could I check to know it points to specific area.
2, In address bar of browser I see : http://192.168.1.17:8080/browsertest/servlet/BrowserServlet
Could you explain me the address about what does it mean?
3, When I use I/E I found that It shows System Date, Company , User Name ... at the status bar but when I use Firefox, It doesn't show as I/E, How should I do if want to show as I/E
4, Could you please tell the advantages and disadvantages of we use front end as them, which one is better for using browser?
5, Could you please draw diagram of flow process browser working
6, I heard they said tomcat, What is tomcat?
7, Could you please provide me the procedure to configure processing browser?

have to check the tcserver.xml file in the tcserver directory.

192.168.1.17 is th ip of the Web browser machine ( may be apache / weblogic) and 8080 is the port number . browsertest is the name of the extract obtain from the war file called browsertest.war localted inside webapps directory

its the webserver to handle http request( tomcat = apache )

For question 1, where is the path of tcserver.xml could you show its path and line point to that area and Question 3, Could you tell me the way to enable the status bar to show date, sign on ... and Question 4 Could you tell me some point with them and Do you have some documents related with it, Pls provide me via : This email address is being protected from spambots. tcserver.xml will be in some directory usually tcserver\conf\TCServer ( not fixed as we can place it any where in the file system)

I am looking for some documentation and will post

Read the manuals of Browser Installation and configuration.pdf located in the helptext and userguides folder

That document will answer all you questions
