mw42 for browser was created by s4sathish
I have some issues while inputting a contract through browser. The browser was just hanging.I wanted to check the mw42 output for the browser session. However the mw42 didnot show the happenings in the browser session, even though I was inputting a deal paralelly. Its mandatory for me to get this output.
Should we set any common variables for this to work?

DETAILS
******

Oracle running in R08.004 with websphere.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought browser is stateless, what you see in mw42 is tSS running.
WHERE (V will probably give you the details you need.

Thanks Jpb.
The funny thing is the tSS is not shown in the WHERE (V , even when I take a browser session.
Looks very odd to me :-(

I don't know what you expect, but have you tried setting the log level to ALL in tcslog.properties and review the global.log ?

Hi Jpb,

The problem was solved by setting the JBASE_DATABASE variable in environment.vars.
In the server area where I was working the initial value for this common variable was "default"
With this setting whenever I had a browser session and executed something like
where v | grep tSS , nothing was shown.

Then we changed JBASE_DATABASE=<<name of the unix account>> , in environment.vars.
After this system started recognising tSS process and these were shown as a part of WHERE V and mw42.

Thanks for your help on this

well i see the issue is resolved.
However you can start a debug session on browser using t24 toolbox IDE which is an excellent tool for debugging. This could also help you in tracking a bug
