How can i check if my Template application is being run in Browser or not?

The Additional Info field in PGM.FILE can give you some information

.GUI - This means an application can be run in GUI mode ( Globus Desktop mode )
.NOGUI - This means an application cannot be run from a GUI mode.
.NOB - You cannot run this application from Browser
