Placing an order from SEC.OPEN.ORDER application was created by assiddiqui
I am using SEC.OPEN.ORDER application to place an order and on execution of order, its trade is created from SEC.TRADE application.
1) Is there any setup/marker in SEC.OPEN.ORDER application if an order is partially executed??
2) If an order is partially executed then how to place an order for remaining quantity??

Hi
SOO level we don’t have any option to execute the order with partial or full nominal’s (Manually reducing/increasing the nominal value).
Can you check the parameter file SC.ORDER.TYPE where we can see the field FULL.ORDER

Please refer to file SC.EXE.SEC.ORDERS file once the SEC.OPEN.ORDER record is Authorised. Also refer to the fields in applications SC.ORDER.TYPE , SC.PARAMETER and SC.STD.SEC.TRADE with respect to Orders
The Front office inputs an order using the SEC.OPEN.ORDER application and they are generally transmitted to the broker. On confirmation of price, the Middle office executes the order by furnishing broker details in SC.EXE.SEC.ORDERS. Its possible to have the order fully executed by one or more broker at same or different price. On authorisation of SC.EXE.SEC.ORDERS a SEC.TRADE record is created in IHLD.
The execution/trade details are updated back into the SEC.OPEN.ORDER record and also the order reference is available in SEC.TRADE. Once trade is fully completed the SEC.OPEN.ORDER and SC.EXE.SEC.ORDERS records move to history. The Back does the settlement of the trade .
An order can be partially executed also For example : A buy order for 10K qty can be partially executed if it matches the criteria (say for 6K Qty). The Trade also happens for the executed Qty. Since 4K qty are remaining, and subject to setup in parameter file, SEC.OPEN.ORDER record remains in live with SC.EXE.SEC.ORDERS in INAU status for capture of subsequent execution. Once a matching order comes up it the remaining partial qty of 4K gets executed or automaticaly matures the order and move it to history.
