T24 Hardware Migration

We are moving to new T24 infrastructure which is lot better than current infrastructure. It has better processor, more number of CPU's and more memory. My question is that is there any special concern with compatibility of current application to new server? I have been listening to views from T24 consultants that new servers may be 'too good for T24' and may cause issues. Considering this migration is for ive environment, its not easily be testable in non-live environment.

Does any one have any experience around this?

The best practice for ordering new HD for T24 CORE banking are the below tasks
•Involve Temenos consulting in determine the HD specs since they need to collect data about the current size and the expected growth for the next three years before specify the new HD specs.
•Implement full UAT cycle on the new HD
•Implement stress testing on the new HD

Note that T24 Process/Function executed on Application layer since the DB layer is used for storing data only,
