tSS on G14 ?

Hi,

Does anybody know if it's possible to use tSS in order to execute OFS messages from the jbase prompt on G14?

By the way, there is no tSS executable or object code file on the environment.

You can use OFS.CONNECTION.MANAGER instead of tSS

• Syntax : OFS.CONNECTION.MANAGER <OFS.SOURCE name>
OFS.CONNECTION.NAMAGER TELNET
>ENQUIRY.SELECT,,INPUTT/123456,CURRENCY-LIST,
>EXIT

Yes, it's OK, thank you msurii. But is it the same thing as tSS just with different name? Or there is some difference in the processing?

The tSS will support some additional processings functionality compare to OCM like Swift & Clearing manager

You can and it's simple. I assume you run on Unix, just call

tSS ofs_source

in the .profile, while ofs_source should be a defined OFS.SOURCE record.

In the .profile you can check if the logged user is some specific user and only in that case call the above command.

If you only want to do some ad-hoc test, just call the above from jshell.

Oops, I missed the version you specified. tSS may not work on G14, but it does exist on later versions.
