Compatibility problem - AIX and Globus Desktop

I have this strange problem. I have two AIX 5.1 and AIX 5.3 servers.
Both have UniVerse 9.6.2.10 with G11.1.02.
On AIX 5.1 there are no problems at all and I can connect with any Globus Desktop version or through Classic.
On the AIX 5.3 server, I cannot connect with Globus Desktop ver 1.4 and above, while I can with lower Desktop version, like 1.3 or through Classic.
When I try to connect with ver.1.4 , the 'show progress' text box shows messages
3004-033 YOU LOGGED IN USING ALL UPPERCASE CHARACTERS
3004-007 YOU ENTERED AN INVALID LOGIN NAME OR PASSWORD

Any idea what could be the reason for this?

i am using desktop 1.4 on aix 5.1 and i did not have to do anything. i am thinking that maybe the settings on the two aix versions are different.

Hi Chris,

Can you please check the login script used for logging in to the GLOBUS desktop of both the servers you have...

We replaced the negoc file with the old one we had already working on AIX 5.1 and the problem was solved on AIX 5.3. The default from Desktop 1.4 obviously doesn't work on AIX 5.3. Thanks Shenba.
